Feeling good this week, just need to stop eating so much rubbish (chocolate easter eggs still in the house) I made rice krispie buns and chocolate biscuit cake this week to try and reduce the stash but there is still loads left. At the rate I’m going, it won’t be there for too much longer.
Had the anomoly scan this week. I was so excited in the run up to it and then when I got into the waiting room I got really anxious thinking what if there is a problem, what if they tell me there is something wrong with the baby? Thankfully I didn’t have too long to wait and was greeted by the nicest sonographer who made me feel at ease the minute she turned on the monitor.
It was fantastic to see all the little features of our baby and everything was in working order. The sonographer even typed in my childrens name’s saying Hi to them from the baby and some kissess. She was lovely and it was so great to get the reassurance I was looking for. I mujst upload one of the scan images shortly
Had my 3rd Yoga class this week. I am really enjoying it. Kathy the instructor gives great direction and shares some tips with us each week. She got me thinking this week about writing a birth plan. I am going to scribble down a few ideas over the next few weeks while it is still fresh in my mind. I am also going to research Tens machines and research some more information on when is the right time to cut the umbilical cord. Apparently, cutting the cord too early denies babies an important supply of blood and can also reduce the amount of iron a newborn receives. It’s food for thought!!
